Being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer last year was an almighty shock to myself and my wife Lucille. After a series of hospital appointments, blood tests, and several meetings with lovely and caring nurses, we met Mr Patel who was to carry out the keyhole surgery. He was both friendly and reassuring. He explained in great detail what the whole procedure would entail. Both Lucille and I were very much heartened. After the totally painless surgery, Mr Patel phoned my wife to tell her that all was well, and she could visit me in hospital. I spent five days in the hospital ward. Mr Patel came to see me every day until he decided it was safe for me to go home. I have nothing but praise for both him and the wonderful nurses in the ward. Thank you, sir, and also thanks to your team Our good wishes to all of you from myself and Lucille Leslie Schofield.

I had 2Hernia operations on 09.01.24. A week later I had a concern about 1 of my op sites and I rang the hospital and was given an appointment at Bushey Spire Hospital the same day where I was seen by a Nurse and then a doctor. I was also given an appointment to see Mr Vanash Patel 2 hours later at Bushey Diagnostics Centre who further reassured me that everything was in order. Overall, the care and treatment I received was excellent.

Thank you to Mr Patel, he really did take the time to explain the procedures and to listen to my worries. He was on time for all the consultations, which I find quite rare. I felt I could put my trust in him and am very pleased with the results.

Mr Patel had a calm reassuring confidence in delivering his diagnosis and explaining my continuation in the cancer pathway for the next 5 years.
